This page explains what cookies Velora uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. Your choices here are saved to your browser and respected across the site.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to help websites function properly, remember your preferences, and provide the site's operators with information about how pages are used.

Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information by themselves. They cannot execute programs or deliver viruses. They are simply a way for a website to recognise your device on future visits and recall certain choices you have made.

You can control and manage cookies in various ways. Please see Sections 5 and 6 for guidance on your options.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these cookies, and the third parties' own privacy and cookie policies govern their use.

  • Google Analytics — usage measurement and reporting. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Maps — embedded map on our contact page. Google Privacy Policy
  • Meta Pixel — if marketing cookies are enabled, Meta may set cookies to measure ad performance.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Cookie Duration

Session cookies

Session cookies are temporary and are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used to support basic site functionality during your visit.

Persistent cookies

Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or until you delete them. Expiry periods vary by purpose — from a few minutes (rate limiting) to up to two years (analytics). Full details are listed in Section 2 for each cookie type.

5. Your Cookie Preferences

Use the controls below to manage which cookies you allow. Your choices are saved immediately to your browser. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are needed for the site to function.
